Nova Café
Downtown Bozeman offers a plethora of breakfast eateries, but Nova Café takes the cake. Nova is a diner that exudes good vibes, with bright, cheerful colors and patterns that appear on all surfaces in sight. The eye isn’t the only thing that’s pleased, as Nova’s one-of-a-kind menu is sure to delight even the pickiest of eaters. The menu includes classics like biscuits and gravy to pancakes to foods you won’t find anywhere else, like a cheese-covered Belgian waffle called the “Morning After,” my personal favorite. Coffee lovers will not be disappointed by basic drip coffee, as Nova serves specialty drinks made with espresso from Rockford Coffee. Nova provides a vibrant atmosphere, exclusive foods and coffee, all guaranteed to please your taste buds and fuel your day.

The Western Café
Once you take your first bite of the Western Café’s famous chicken fried steak, you’ll understand why the place is nicknamed “the Last Best Café.” The Western has been around for the better part of a century, serving cowboys and tourists alike. Besides the aforementioned chicken fried steak, their menu includes all the home-style breakfast favorites like biscuits and gravy, loaded-up omelets, eggs benedict, burritos and more. They even make their giant cinnamon rolls in-house every morning, which they use to create the “Bobcat Special.” You’ll understand once you see it on the menu tomorrow morning. But hurry! Good, home-style breakfast is always in high demand, and limited seating is available due to social distancing restrictions. It’ll take a while to get seated once the brunch rush hits, so hit up the Western Café at the crack of dawn like any good cowboy would.
