Netflix switches it up

Unfortunately, because of COVID-19, our lives are still being ruled by social distancing guidelines. This can make Friday nights a little less exciting than they used to be. However, next time you’re unsure of what to do on Friday evening, consider staying in and taking advantage of Netflix’s new streaming agreement.

Throughout 2021, Netflix will release at least one brand new movie every single week. They currently have 71 titles lined up for the year, ensuring there will be plenty of new movies to keep us all entertained.

The movies lined up consist of many different genres including action, horror, thriller, sci-fi, drama, romance and even a Western.

These aren’t your everyday movies either. Big-name stars including Leonardo DiCaprio, Sandra Bullock, Dwayne Johnson, Meryl Streep, Jennifer Lawrence and Timothee Chalamet will star in the upcoming releases.

Netflix is rumored to release all of their new content at 3:01 a.m. (EST), although they’ve never commented on the reason why. So, next time you aren’t sure how to spend your time but want to stay safe and at home, consider hopping on Netflix to catch a new flick.
