On Monday, Sept. 30, former MSU basketball player Keljin Blevins signed a training camp contract with the Portland Trail Blazers. Blevins, cousins to current Blazers star Damien Lilliard, started all but one game in his two years in Bozeman. His senior year, he was third on the team averaging 11.8 points, and first on the team with 5.9 rebounds per game. Blevins played on the 2019 Summer League team for Portland and proved himself worthy of a contract. Blevins on Twitter said he was “blessed beyond measure” to receive the opportunity. Portland’s first practice of training camp was Tuesday, Oct. 1. From those in Bobcat nation, we will be rooting for you.
