'Tis the season to get tipsy

When it comes to the holidays, it's time to be jolly. What better way to do that than some fun, themed cocktails? Here are a few festive holiday drinks to get you in the holiday spirit.

The Grinch:

This Christmas cocktail resembles the beloved Grinch and his change of heart. At first this drink has a little kick to it from the sliced jalapeno, but once you take a few more sips you realize it's the perfect mix of sweet and spicy – just like the Grinch.

Ingredients:

• 1 shot of vodka (or make it a double, we know the Grinch would)
• Lime wedge
• Two slices of jalapeño
• 2 tbsp pomegranate seeds
• ¾ cup ginger beer
• ¼ cup pomegranate juice

Directions: Fill your cup with ice about halfway, then add all your other ingredients and garnish with jalapeño and pomegranate seeds.

A Christmas Sunset:

Although the sun is setting earlier and earlier, this cocktail is sure to brighten your mood. The citrus drink is light and refreshing, so you can surely have more than just one.

Ingredients:

• ⅔ cup ginger beer
• ⅓ cup orange juice
• 1 shot vodka
• 2 tbsp pomegranate seeds
• Fresh mint

Directions: Fill cup with ice, add ingredients and garnish with pomegranate seeds and fresh mint leaves.

Santa’s Cup of Joe:

How do you think Santa makes it around the whole world before the crack of dawn? This drink is the perfect morning cocktail – It's five o'clock somewhere according to the North Pole.

Ingredients:

• Double shot of Bailey’s
• 1 cup of Califia Farms Peppermint Cold Brew
• Whipped cream (optional)
• Crushed candy canes (optional)

Directions: Add ice to a glass cup and add Baileys and peppermint cold brew. Top with a swirl of whipped cream and candy canes.

The Elf on the Shelf:

This drink is the perfect mocktail for someone who is looking for a non-alcoholic beverage that is still festive and tasty.

Ingredients:

• Sparkling cider
• Thinly sliced apple wedge
• Splash of cran-apple juice

Directions: Fill a glass with ice and sparkling cider, then add a splash of cran-apple juice, thinly slice an apple and make a slit in it to put on the rim of the glass.
