There’s nothing like satisfying your late-night munchies when you're out on the town and craving a little pick-me-up at the end of the night. Downtown Bozeman has a variety of options to choose from when it comes to grabbing a late night snack.

If you're out and about any night from Thursday through Saturday — around 11 p.m. until 2 a.m. — then there are multiple food establishments waiting to serve up a late night bite. Bob Dogs, owned by Hayden Phillips, is one of these establishments. Phillips manages a hot dog cart located right outside of Bar IX.

Phillips opened his stand last summer because he wanted to start a business that would work around his school schedule at MSU.

“Every city normally has a hot dog cart and Bozeman needed one,” he said. “People should not just stop at my stand because the food is good. It is an experience and a lot of people have never seen or been to an East Coast-style hot dog cart.”

Philips said he enjoys working late nights because he gets to see “the night life come alive.” The next time your stomach growls during those later hours grab a dog fully loaded with all the toppings you can think of.

Another hot spot is Mo’s Bowls, usually parked on 23rd Ave. This place is perfect if you're craving a creamy bowl of mac n’ cheese to indulge in. The caprese or bacon cheeseburger are both great options if you're looking for a more eccentric mac n’ cheese that will enliven your taste buds. They even have fried mac n’ cheese balls you can dip in ranch which are a game changer.

El Rodeo, the white taco truck parked in front of the bars downtown in varying locations during the year, offers a variety of options if you're in the mood for authentic Mexican cuisine. Street style tacos and quesadillas are staples of the truck and never fail to satisfy a craving. They even give you a side of pickled veggies that have the perfect kick to wake you right back up. Mosey on over if you're looking to spice up your night with some scrumptious snacking options.

Tarantino’s, located at the corner of S. Rouse Ave, is the spot for you if you're looking to get a slice of pizza. Not only is it cheap and fast but you can get as many or few slices as your heart — or should I say belly — pleases. Grab a side of ranch and a dash of parmesan and then get back on with your night.

Midnight snacking is a weekend delicacy we all enjoy participating in. Support your local businesses and your cravings by grabbing a bite to eat on one of your next late-night adventures.
