Adella Harris, an honors student and aspiring public servant from Helena, was crowned Miss Montana 2026 on Saturday, while Butte high schooler Harper Harryman took the Miss Montana’s Teen title at the Mother Lode Theatre.

“Through her work on her local public school board and experience within the Montana State Legislature, Harris is passionate about helping others recognize their value and potential,” the press release states. “During the 76th Miss Montana competition, she earned $5,400 in scholarships and a full-ride scholarship to Troy University, in addition to the title of Miss Montana 2026.”

Pursuing a degree in political science at Montana State University, Harris plans to attend law school with dreams of serving in public office.

Harryman, a junior at Butte High School, shares a passion for service.

“Her community service initiative, The Mind & Movement Collective, promotes teen mental health through movement, mentorship, and meaningful conversation,” the release states. “Harryman is honored to represent Montana while advocating for mental wellness and empowering young people across the state.”

Through the Miss Montana Organization, Harryman has earned a full-ride scholarship to her choice of University of Alabama, Mississippi State University, and Troy University.

“The Miss Montana Scholarship Opportunity is Montana’s official preliminary to the Miss America Competition and is centered around the Four Points of the Crown: Style, Success, Scholarship, and Service,” the release states.

“The organization provides young women with opportunities for personal and professional growth while awarding scholarships to support higher education.”

Harris claimed the Miss Montana title among ten competitors from across the state, while Harryman beat out four other young women for Miss Montana’s Teen at the May 30 pageant, the 76th and 21st crownings of their respective titles. Thirteen girls also participated in Montana’s Treasures, the Miss America Little Sisters program.

Harris will now represent Montana at the Miss America Competition while continuing to promote her Made for More initiative, and Harryman will head to Miss America’s Teen to keep championing youth mental health and wellness.
