ASMSU general election results

BOZEMAN – Montana State University’s student government, the Associated Students of MSU, held its general election this week to choose student leaders for the 2018-19 academic year.

A total of 3,198 students cast ballots, a voter turnout of 20.6 percent.

The results are as follows. Winners are marked with bold type.

President and Vice President (1 pair elected)

  • Taylor Blossom and Lizzy Thompson – 1,888 votes 

  • Justin Hodges and Courtney Stutheit – 1,143 votes 


Agriculture Senator (1 elected )

  • Jack Schmitz – 186 votes 

  • Koley Clements – 85 votes


Arts and Architecture Senator (1 elected)


  • Silas Teasdale – 147 votes

Business Senators (2 elected)

  • Kaitlyn Reiman – 159 votes
