Bobcats hawk another transfer

The MSU Women’s Basketball Team added another impressive transfer as the Edmore, N.D. native Fallyn Freije announced she is transferring to MSU from the University of North Dakota. A six-foot forward, Freije will add impressive depth to an already stellar Bobcat roster. Per the NCAA eligibility rules, Freije will have to sit out the 2018-19 season, but will have one year of eligibility after.

“I just love the character of this kid and how hard [Freije] competes and commits to everything in her life,” Head Coach Tricia Binford stated. “She is a great student, a great teammate and she is going to be a great leader in this program.”

Freije will add to the list of impressive transfers the Bobcats have landed over the past two seasons. Martha Kuderer and Claire Lundberg recently transferred from Seton Hall before the 2017-18 season, but had to sit out the same season per the aforementioned NCAA rules that require Freije to sit out the upcoming season. Coming off of what some are calling the Bobcats’ rebuilding year, the Cats are in prime position to make another run at the Big Sky Conference Championship.
