Correction

An article published Wednesday in print and online titled "Deadline day: Democratic candidate field gathers at courthouse for final filing" had some incorrect information. The article incorrectly stated In 2021, Gallatin County commissioners raised concerns over alleged attempts from county Treasurer Maureen Horton to regain control over county bank accounts.

The concerns regarding Horton were not raised in 2021 but in 2024. The resolution from 2021 was since nullified. The online edition of this coverage is updated reflecting these changes and the Chronicle is following up with Horton on her side of this ongoing story.
