Helena Food Share offers community gathering at 'Summer Lot Party'

The Helena Food Share hosted a "Summer Lot Party" on Friday where people gathered for food, drinks, games and more from late morning to the early afternoon.

Bubbles floated through the air as children played with hula-hoops and other games at a local organization's tent.

Multiple groups gathered in the parking lot at the food share location, 1280 Boulder Ave., including Ability MT, ExplorationWorks, Gardenwerks, Helena Village Collective, Lewis and Clark County Bookmobile, Lewis and Clark National Forest, Montana Historical Society, Prickly Pear Land Trust, Rocky Mountain Head Start, Skilled Foundation and more.

Food was also provided by Rockstar BBQ and Mountain Berry Bowls.

Attendees entered the lot and were handed meal tickets before perusing the venue's offerings.

Live music was also provided by Tyler Torgrimson and the Moonshiner Band.
