Helena's Alive at Five summer concert series lineup announced

It's time to bust out the sunscreen and dancing shoes and get ready for this summer's Alive at Five concert series, whose lineup was recently announced.

The free weekly concert series hosted by Lewis and Clark Brewing Co. and Rocky Mountain Credit Union kicks off June 17 at the brewery's taproom and runs through Aug. 19 at Women's Park downtown.

Those imbibing alcoholic beverages must purchase a $2 wristband. All the proceeds from wristband sales go to a different Helena nonprofit each week. In summer 2025, the event raised $10,600 for local nonprofits.

First up at the taproom is the Talbot Brothers from Imperial, Nebraska. "They write songs that feel lived in, honest and unapologetic, drawing from their blue collar upbringing and authenticity," the artist's biography on the event's website states. "Brothers Nick and Ty Talbott have built a name for themselves with their soul stirring lyrics, sibling blood harmonies, and rich melodies that represent the ebbs and flows of love, loss and life."

Longtime Helena band Ten Years Gone will perform June 24 on the Montana State Capitol Lawn. The concert will support the Montana Historical Society.

On July 1 at the Lewis and Clark Taproom, Honey Island Swamp Band will bring their "thrilling, eclectic" sound to the stage. The concert will benefit the Law Enforcement Torch Run and Special Olympics of Montana.

Missoula-based Give It To 'Em FLORABELLE will perform July 8 for the Last Chance Street Dance at the corner of Last Chance Gulch and Lawrence Street. The concert will support Helena YWCA.

Bozeman singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Madeline Hawthorne will perform July 15 at Carroll College. The concert will support Grandstreet Theatre, whose actors will offer a sneak peak of their upcoming production before the music starts.

Tylor and The Train Robbers will perform at Women's Park on July 22. The concert will support Helena Area Friends of Pets.

"With boots worn thin from relentless touring, they've crisscrossed the country, honing their craft and delivering electrifying performances, leaving a trail of devoted fans in their wake," an artist biography on the event's website states.

On July 29, North Fork Crossing will bring their new-age bluegrass sound to the Lewis and Clark Taproom for a concert supporting the Saints Athletic Association.

Helena-based Insufficient Funds Band will take Alive at Five to East Helena with a concert at Main Street Park. The concert will support the East Helena Fireworks Show.

On Aug. 12, Too Slim and the Taildraggers will take the stage at the Lewis and Clark Taproom for a concert supporting Cohesion Dance Project.

For the final concert in the series, Lost Canyons will perform at Women's Park downtown in a concert supporting Cancer Support Community.
