Finding the most comfortable place to take a wee can be stressful. Who wants cramped spaces, weird smells or stalls that are just a little too short for comfort? Well, if you’re looking for a secluded space with working locks and the retro vibe that’s so in right now, hop on over to Traphagen Hall. Conveniently located in the center of campus, your porcelain seat is never more than a few minute’s walk away. The stalls are big, the sinks are fun and the big window in the back makes everything nice and breezy. So what are you waiting for? Your throne awaits.

Jaxson - Rendezvous Dining Pavilion 

Hello, Exponent reader. If you’re on the prowl for the perfect place to relieve yourself while on campus at the wonderful Montana State, boy oh boy do I have the perfect place for you. Rendezvous Dining Pavilion is quite simply the best place to pop a squat and take care of business. This wonderful commode offers plenty of thrones suitable for all you Bobcat kings and queens. So, next time you find yourself sitting in Rendezvous enjoying the breakfast that hits your gut like a rock, make a quick (or long) pitstop before heading to class — you’ll thank me later.  

Finley - Willson 2nd Floor 

Going to the bathroom, in general, is optional. With that being said, going to the bathroom at school is double optional. That’s why I don’t go to the bathroom while I’m on campus. What I do need to do is look at myself in the mirror. I have to make sure my outfit looks okay or that my hair isn’t messed up. In order to do this properly, I need privacy, adequate lights and a clean, full-length mirror. The only bathroom to check all these boxes is the men’s bathroom on the second floor of Willson Hall, in between the History and English Departments. The only downside is, as an American Studies major myself, I frequently have my professors walk into the bathroom as I am clearly checking myself out in the mirror. Nonetheless, the reward outweighs the risk.

Aside from residence halls, most bathrooms on Montana State’s campus are clean and serve their purpose adequately. Because the quality of bathrooms is similar across the board, the determining factor for the best and worst of the bathrooms comes down to traffic. Nobody wants company in a bathroom, especially not a public one. Finding the best bathroom on campus requires finding one that escapes the majority of the student body and remains unoccupied most of the time. So which bathroom is the best? Well, that’s information that I am simply not willing to part with. You’ll have similar luck asking me where I fish. All I can say is that the best bathroom on campus is an empty one.
