‘The Floor’ Fans Outraged at ‘Unacceptable’ Response in ‘Voice Actors’ Category
The Floor fans are not happy with an answer that was accepted on the May 20 episode, since it was wrong. They find it “unacceptable” that the contestant got it right.
Two new contestants, Lauren and Kyle, dueled on Wednesday night in the category of “Voice Actors.” The animated character was shown on the screen, and the contestants had to name the actor who voiced them.
Lauren and Kyle correctly answered that Woody from Toy Story was voiced by Tom Hanks, Dory from Finding Nemo was voiced by Ellen DeGeneres, Shrek was voiced by Mike Myers, and so on.
When it came time for Po from Kung Fu Panda, Kyle said it was Jack Black, and the game show deemed him correct. However, fans pointed out that the character was actually Li Shan, Po’s dad, who is voiced by Bryan Cranston.
“Unacceptable,” a Reddit user said. “This is NOT PO, voiced by Jack Black! This is his father, who is voiced by Bryan Cranston. I don’t know how they made this mistake, but it’s absolutely unacceptable on this high-quality program.”
“Idk why they struggle so much with character duels, but it’s happened multiple times now where the image and correct answer were completely wrong,” a fan replied.
“They make this kind of mistake several times a season at least,” a third added.
“Just like they accepted ‘Baby Yoda’ for Grogu. The show definitely has some quality control issues with the judging, the format, and questions,” another commented.

“I’m pissed. That was not Po. That was his dad, Li, who was voiced by Bryan Cranston. Not Jack Black,” a fan on another thread said.
“Po’s Father from Kung Fu Panda 3 wasn’t Jack Black, it’s Bryan Cranston #TheFloor,” an X user said.
“Oh HELL NO #TheFloor did NOT just say Po’s father was voiced by Jack Black??! That was NOT Po from Kung-fu Panda! That was his father!” another tweeted.
At the end of the night, only 34 out of 100 contestants remained. Eric was still untouchable with the Territory Freeze. Ren won the “Arthematic” duel and won 19 spots on the floor, giving her the $20,000 prize for the night. She inherited “Celebrity Siblings.”
