Seven employees of the Belgrade Police Department were honored by their community at a recent awards ceremony.
The six peace officers and one staff member received recognition for their high level of service provided to Belgrade residents, according to city spokeswoman Whitney Bermes.
The awardees are:
Detective Nicole Nelson - Officer of the Year
Sgt. Jarrod Robinson - Supervisor of the Year, Purple Heart
Ryan Finn - Civilian Staff Member of the Year
Officer Isaiah Wuich - Spirit Award, Top Shot
Officer Mitch Good - two Lifesaving Awards, Medal of Valor, Chief's Award for Excellence
Officer Damen Turnquist - two Lifesaving Awards
Officer Aaron Gillies - Lifesaving Award
The 2026 Belgrade Police Department’s annual awards ceremony was held Feb. 19 in the Belgrade Library Community Room.
The awardees' dedication, professionalism, and courage reflect the very best of public service, according to a statement from the Belgrade Police Department.
"From quiet acts that improve quality of life to decisive actions that saved lives, these awards honor the commitment, teamwork, and character that keep our community safe,” reads the agency’s statement. “We are grateful to every member of the department, sworn and civilian alike, and to the families who support them every step of the way.”
