The Bobcat volleyball team hosted the Northern Colorado Bears on Oct. 26 for their latest Big Sky Conference tilt. Coming off two impressive three-set sweeps of Portland State and the University of Montana, the Cats were riding high with more expectations of the same. The Bears, however, did not let those expectations come to fruition as they handed the Cats their seventh Big Sky loss of the season by means of a three set sweep:  25-18, 25-16 and 25-16.

Sophomore outside hitter Hannah Scott impressed with a team high seven kills. Two Bobcats gathered double-digit digs, junior libero Allyssa Rizzo and sophomore setter Carina Lehto, who had 10 and 11 digs respectively.

The Cats will host two more games this week. Southern Utah visits Shroyer Gym on Nov. 1 at 7 p.m., and Northern Arizona makes the trek from Flagstaff for a match on Saturday, Nov. 3 with first serve set for 7:30 p.m.
