Bozeman Business Leaders Talk A.I. Tools At Public Library Event
Bozeman, Mont. — Business leaders gathered at the Bozeman Public Library on Wednesday to talk about how artificial intelligence is present in workplaces across Montana.
The community conversation focused on how businesses are using AI and what concerns are coming up as technology spreads.
The event was hosted by J-Tech Communications, a Bozeman-based web design agency that builds websites with AI-based performance platforms built into them.
Blythe Beaubien, owner of Bigger Fish Unlimited Marketing and PR Agency, said she went to the event to stay current and better serve her clients.
“I attended the A.I. lecture this evening, because I am always trying to keep up to speed and do the best work for my clients. So, I’m always learning about A.I. and new tools. I use it a lot in the office for grunt work like reporting and evaluating metrics, things like that. Or, to come up with some creative ideas,” Beaubien said.
Speakers also addressed concerns they were hearing from businesses about AI-generated material.
“One of the most common fears that we hear from businesses is that they’re scared of A.I. content for the sake that it’s A.I. content, and if they are able to identify it as A.I. content, then it’s bad,” said Max Wolsborn, programmatic marketing specialist at J-Tech Communications.
“I think it gives people access to really evolved strategy that probably wasn’t available before; and also, it’s the speed of that strategy or that creative process that they can use,” said Chelsey Collimore, marketing manager at J-Tech Communications.
The conversation also covered ways to spot AI-generated content, fact-check AI outputs, and use the technology safely in business.
