Butte-Silver Bow Fire Department assists 2 residents out of a house fire

BUTTE, Mont. - The Butte-Silver Bow Fire Department (BSBFD) and Floral Park Volunteer Fire Department responded to a house fire on Edwards Street early Sunday morning. Two residents were assisted out of the house when crews arrived.

According to a social media post from BSBFD, the fire was called it at around 5:23 a.m.

Flames were not showing from outside of the house, but the fire department said a "smoke condition" and fire were found inside of a bathroom.

No injuries were reported. The house suffered smoke and fire damage.

BSBFD said the cause of the fire is under investigation.
