Butte-Silver Bow Fire, volunteer departments respond to barn fire west of Butte

The Butte-Silver Bow Fire Department and three volunteer departments responded around 3:45 p.m. Wednesday to a barn fire near a residence off Haggin View Road, an address roughly between the exits for Ramsay and Fairmont off Interstate 90. There were no injuries.

The pole barn was fully involved when crews arrived and significant fire damage precluded identifying a cause. Volunteers responded from Rocker, Big Butte and Boulevard.
