County Line Fire reported east of St. Regis, smoke visible on Highway 135

ST. REGIS, Mont. — Firefighters were responding to the County Line Fire on May 26 about three miles east of St. Regis and north of Highway 135.

A Facebook post from Lolo National Forest said the lightning-sparked fire had burned about 0.2 acres in steep rocky terrain with mixed conifer.

Crews were responding by ground and by air, according to the post.

Smoke could be visible from Highway 135.
