Crystal Lake Road closes between Highway 87 and Seright Road
FERGUS COUNTY, Mont. — Fergus County DES reported Crystal Lake Road was temporarily closed from U.S. Highway 87 to Seright Road because of deteriorating road conditions.
The agency said Road Department crews were doing spring reclaiming when heavy moisture moved through the area. Fergus County DES explained the ground became saturated and conditions no longer allowed crews to safely use heavy equipment.
Drivers needing to reach Seright Road were asked to use a detour through Moore.
The agency said the closure was temporary and work would resume after the area dried enough for machinery.
Fergus County also apologized for the inconvenience and thanked residents for their patience and for helping keep crews safe.
