Custer County Fire gets $50,000 grant for new air supply gear

MILES CITY, Mont. — Custer County Fire said it received a $50,000 grant to buy equipment that supports firefighters during emergency operations.

The funding came from the Montana Department of Commerce. Custer County Fire said the money will go toward new equipment that helps provide a safe and reliable air supply for firefighters.

The grant focused on equipment used during emergency work. The department said the purchase will support firefighters with air supply needs in the field.
