Downtown gets new art gallery

A new art gallery has opened in the in the Mercantile Building downtown.

Belgrade Art Gallery, owned by owned by Joseph Capuano, sells original artwork from local and international artists. It's in Suite 217 upstairs in the Mercantile Building, 11 W. Main St.

"Congratulations to Joe and the Belgrade Art Gallery on your Grand Opening celebration!" reads a statement from the Belgrade Chamber of Commerce. "We are so excited to welcome you to downtown Belgrade. Your space is a wonderful addition to our community, and we’re looking forward to seeing the incredible art and talented local artists you showcase.
