Egg hunts and Easter bunny kick off Easter weekend in Butte

Eggs were not in short supply as multiple Easter egg hunts took place around Butte on Saturday.

The Southwest Montana Veterans’ Home, Vigilante Rodeo and Saddle Club, Team 406 Disaster Relief and The Springs at Butte all planned Easter egg hunts.

A special visit from the Easter Bunny took place at the Spirit of Columbia Gardens Carousel in Stodden Park.

Children and families in attendance at the Vigilante Rodeo and Saddle Club egg hunt took turns by age group collecting eggs from the arena at the rodeo grounds.

Other activities included face painting, hayrides and the chance to see some animals.
