Evacuation lifted after bomb materials found at residence in Belgrade

Roads in the area of Mantle Drive have been reopened, according to the Belgrade Police Department. BPD said residents may return to their homes.
The incident remains under investigation.

The Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office said deputies found suspected bomb-making materials while serving a warrant at a residence on Mantle, prompting nearby evacuations in the Belgrade area.
Belgrade Police and sheriff’s office personnel cleared nearby homes as a precaution, according to the sheriff’s office. Officials said the scene remains active while the investigation continues.
One person was arrested.
