Four dead in Lincoln County car crash

Four people died Tuesday morning in a Lincoln County car crash near Manicke, according to a Montana Highway Patrol press release.

According to the release, the crash took place on US-2. A 66-year-old Kalispell man driving westbound went into the eastbound lane, where he collided head-on with a GMC Canyon driven by a 70-year-old woman from Libby. She had two passengers, an 86-year-old man and an 84-year-old woman, both also from Libby.

The Kalispell man and both the GMC passengers were pronounced dead on the scene. The GMC driver was transported to Logan Health, where she also died.

No alcohol, drugs or speed are suspected, according to the release.
