Janicki to build $800 million manufacturing facility in Great Falls

GREAT FALLS, Mont. - Manufacturing company Janicki announced Tuesday its plans to build an $800 million, 2 million square foot facility in Great Falls. The company also has locations in Washington and Utah.

Janicki estimates the new facility, which it calls a "manufacturing campus," will add 1,000 jobs within five years of opening.

The company cited conversations with Governor Greg Gianforte as a leading factor in its decision to pursue a facility in Great Falls.

"Great Falls emerged as the leading candidate with strong responses from the governor to the economic development teams," Janicki wrote in a press release. 

“We are thrilled to welcome Janicki to Montana and celebrate the company’s $800 million investment in Great Falls," Gianforte said. "Through its creation of over 1,000 good-paying jobs, Janicki will inspire innovation, strengthen our economy, and support our growing communities for years to come."

Janicki produces parts for primarily aerospace and defense technology, according to its website. 

Construction is expected to begin in July 2026.
