Jazz music, lessons, on tap April 20 in Three Forks
Three Forks Public Schools’ Music Program will hold the 2nd Annual Jazz Dance next Monday.
“Our jazz band has been preparing itself for the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival, and will present the tunes they will be performing, as well as some other classics, at this fundraiser, geared towards helping them cover the costs of attending,” reads an April 13 statement from the district. “Food, auctions, and music - what a great night!”
Swing dance lessons start at 6:30 p.m. April 20 at the middle school gym, 212 E. Neal St., Three Forks. P.M., with the music starting at 7 p.m.
There will be a $5 entry fee. Dinner will be provided by Naida's Night Off at $10 per plate or $36 for a family of four. Children ages five and younger eat for free. There also will be a silent auction and door prizes donated by Frontier Club, Bridger Brewing, Legacy Trading, and Remuda Coffee, among others.
