Kalispell Hops Downtown Grill to close after 18 years
KALISPELL, Mont. — Hops Downtown Grill announced it will permanently close in Kalispell after 18 years, with its last day of service set for May 9.
The restaurant said Doug and Vonnie Day started the Hops concept in 2008. It said Tim and Dana Phillips carried that vision forward starting in 2017.
The owners thanked the Kalispell community and said the restaurant had been a place for people to come together over Montana-inspired meals made from scratch.
The restaurant invited customers to stop in before closing day to share a final meal and celebrate the memories made there.
“It has been an honor to serve this community with our Montana-inspired, made-from-scratch meals and to be a place where friends and family could gather, laugh and connect,” the restaurant said.
In its closing message, the restaurant also shared its appreciation with longtime supporters.
“Thank you for 18 incredible years of support — it has meant more to us than we can express,” the restaurant said.
