Kalispell police conduct death investigation near 200 block of 10th Ave

KALISPELL, Mont. – Kalispell police began a death investigation after responding to a report of an unresponsive man at the 200 block of 10th Ave. 

The Kalispell Police Department said it received the report at 5:39 a.m. on Saturday and the caller said the unresponsive man was found outside their residence. 

The department said it was conducting a “death investigation” at the scene and would be active there throughout the morning. 

It asked residents and motorists to avoid the area to minimize disruptions and allow investigators to work safely. 

“At this time, there is no threat to the public,” the department announced.
