Lewistown clinic to close as Intermountain cuts 41 Montana roles

MONTANA— Intermountain Health leadership announced changes in Montana that included the closure of Lewistown Clinic – Family Medicine and the elimination of 41 clinic roles.

The organization said Lewistown Clinic – Family Medicine was scheduled to close July 24. It also said it was changing the care model at four clinics in Bozeman and Billings.

Intermountain Health leadership reported those clinic changes eliminated six positions. It also said 35 additional leader and staff roles at clinics across Montana were set to be eliminated beginning in June.

The organization said caregivers affected by the changes could apply for other open jobs within Intermountain .

It also said affected workers had access to transition support, career assistance, severance where applicable and benefits guidance.
