March Culture Crawl this Saturday in downtown Hamilton

The March Culture Crawl will take place 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. this Saturday, March 14 in downtown Hamilton with a full slate of art experiences for everyone.

Explore the ARTS at 701 Main in Hamilton is featuring the show "NANA’s ATTIC," with artwork by Michele Golda Pace about realizing you can't really know someone, even those closest to you. Those little moments they have had, the random meetings, the impact of a stranger’s actions on some day at the market, their fears, love and loss. It's most evident when looking back. It’s in the photos of people and places you never knew anything about. Hidden, but not quite forgotten, under the dimly lit eves. In the small notes jotted on torn corners and in the crumpled and faded photos that couldn't be parted with. Enjoy exploring the unknown parts of those you think you know best.

This show is colorful, fun and a lot quirky.

Aurora Fuller will be performing on piano from 1-1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Ten-year-old Fuller has always loved music and began taking piano lessons less than a year ago. She loves to compose her own music and sing and play simultaneously. Some of her favorite songs to play are "Once Upon a Dream" from "Sleeping Beauty," and the theme from "Beauty and The Beast." Fuller is a natural performer and musician far exceeding her age and experience. Her love of music is contagious to anyone who watches her perform.

If you missed the Men Who Cook and Women Who Wine Event at the Daly Mansion, you can get a taste of one of the offerings from the event. Dominic Farrenkopf’s Meatballs will be served with a bourbon maple glaze and a pineapple relish.

Chapter One Book Store, located at 252 Main St., invites you to to meet local author Julie Pope Petrou from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.,  featuring two of her books, "Dream Keeper" and "Guardian Origin of the Amulet."

Art City, 407 Main St., is hosting their mARTch Madness Deaccession Sale AKA Art Rummage Sale, where you can find old art, prints, unfinished projects, art books, random art supplies and equipment, and lots of interesting junk.

Clayworks, 325 Main St., is hosting their first throwdown of 2026, making bowls for the fall Empty Bowls event.

Pick up a punch card at any of the venues above and visit all for a chance to win the extra special gift basket this month. There is something for everyone to experience the arts at Culture Crawl.
