Military children to be honored at Montana State Capitol event April 20
HELENA, Mont. — The State of Montana will host the Military Child Proclamation Event at the Capitol Rotunda in Helena on April 20.
The event recognizes Montana’s military children during the Month of the Military Child. The program is scheduled from 1 to 2 p.m. and attendees are asked to arrive by 12:30 p.m.
Gov. Greg Gianforte and Montana National Guard Adjutant General Brig. Gen. Trent Gibson are scheduled to speak, according to a press release.
Attendees are encouraged to wear purple to show support for military children.
