Missoula and Polson rallies focus on health care concerns

MISSOULA, Mont. — Western Montana rallies were held this weekend over health care concerns.

Social Security Works and Big Sky 55+ hosted the rallies. The events included elected leaders and congressional candidate Sam Forstag.

One rally took place in Missoula in front of Saint Patrick's Hospital. Another was scheduled in Polson from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in front of Saint Joseph Medical Clinic.

The organizer described worries about hospital services.

"Hard to imagine that all of the hospitals that we've gone to are either going to close or lose services. They're not going to be able to give people the care that they need," the organizer said.
