Montana air quality mostly good, with moderate pockets in Great Falls

MONTANA — The Montana Department of Environmental Quality reported that air quality across Montana was mostly good, even as wildfire season kept air conditions top of mind for many communities.

The department reported that many major cities, including Billings and Missoula, were seeing clean and healthy air levels.

It also reported some areas with moderate air quality in central Montana, including Great Falls.

Overall, the department reported that conditions remained stable across the state.
