Police blotter: Anaconda man takes off on foot

Left the scene

At around 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Leo C. Hendrickson, 60, of Anaconda was reportedly driving in the 1800 block of Dewey Boulevard when he crashed into a parked car.

Rather than stick around, Hendrickson allegedly decided to hightail it out of there and left the scene on foot.

According to a police report, officers found Hendrickson a short distance away. He allegedly told the officers he left the scene because his driving status had been suspended.

He was arrested for reckless driving, criminal endangerment, improper use of center lane of a three-lane roadway and driving with a suspended driver’s license.

Wednesday booking

Late Wednesday morning, Trey D. Bennett, 24, of Missoula was booked into the Butte Detention Center for revocation of a suspended or deferred sentence.

Egg thrown

Just after 8 a.m. on Wednesday, it was reported that a car had been struck with an egg while parked in the 500 block of West Daly Street.

Damaged vehicles

Two vehicles parked in the 2400 block of Harrison Avenue were damaged on Thursday morning.

The back window of a 1998 Plymouth Neon was shattered, while nearby, a Jeep’s back and right rear windows were damaged.

Locks cut

Just after 9 a.m. on Thursday, it was discovered that the locks on some storage units at 1110 Hayes Ave., had been cut.

Rock thrown

Also on Thursday, a rock was thrown through the front window of a residence in the 200 block of West Daly Street.
