Police blotter: Three Butte men jailed for assault

Monday arrests

Three Butte men were arrested on Monday for partner or family member assault, with two of the men allegedly causing bodily injury and the other in custody for reasonable apprehension of serious bodily injury. They are:

—Brian R. Johansen, 47, of Butte was taken into custody at 8:30 a.m. on Monday in the 8100 block of Continental Drive. Johansen was reportedly arguing with another man. He then allegedly shoved the other man, causing the man to be fearful.

—Shortly before noon on Monday, it is alleged that Clint Stoner, 49, of Butte shoved a woman against the wall at a residence in the 200 block of Hobson Street. Because the alleged incident occurred in the presence of a 7-year-old girl, he also was arrested for endangering the welfare of a child.

—Just after 2:30 p.m. on Monday, Joseph D. Raasakka, 22, of Butte reportedly pushed a woman in the 300 block of East Park Street, causing her to strike her head on a vehicle’s passenger-side window. He also allegedly made some threats.

Probation violation

At the request of Adult Probation & Parole, John F. Leathers, 47, of Butte was booked into the Butte Detention Center on Tuesday morning for probation violation.

Criminal mischief

The rear passenger window of a pickup truck parked in the 1100 block of Lexington Avenue was reportedly broken out.

More eggs

Shortly before 7 a.m. on Tuesday, it was discovered that eggs had been thrown on a utility trailer parked in the 500 block of West Daly Street.

Truck damaged

Shortly after 4 p.m. on Tuesday, the owner of a 2018 Nissan Titan pickup truck reported a scratch and dent on his vehicle while it was parked in the 800 block of South Montana Street.
