Rocker volunteer firefighters finish wildfire risk training

ROCKER, Mont. — Rocker volunteer firefighters completed wildfire risk assessment training hosted by the Montana DNRC.

Members of the Rocker Volunteer Fire Department joined other volunteers for the training. They learned how to check homes and properties for wildfire risk.

The training focused on factors that can affect whether a structure survives a wildfire. The department planned to share tips and resources with the Rocker community and may offer future property assessments.
