DEA reports increased meth, but drops in fentanyl seizures in Montana

MONTANA — Data from the DEA Rocky Mountain Division, which operates in Colorado, Utah, Wyoming and Montana, shows an increasing number of meth seizures from 2024 to 2025. Across Montana, approximately 24,000 fentanyl pills, nearly 170 pounds of meth and close to three kilograms of cocaine were seized last year.
