Two killed in Highway 93 crash near Arlee

Two people died in a highway car crash near Arlee on Monday night, according to the Montana Highway Patrol.

A 28-year-old Arlee woman was driving a Nissan Altima with an infant in the car southbound on Highway 93 when she crossed the center line, according to the MHP press release. Her car collided with a Chevrolet driven by a 66-year-old Polson man in the opposite direction.

The woman and infant were pronounced dead on scene. The Polson man was transported to St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula.

Alcohol is suspected as a factor in the crash, according to the release.
