Growing Up with Heroes: A Daughter’s Journey with the Navajo Code Talkers

This is a touching and riveting multi-media story about the original famous Navajo Code Talkers. This very first group – the First Twenty-nine – was the pilot project in 1942 who created the first Navajo code. As a recognized historian and the daughter of the oldest Navajo Code Talker, Carl Gorman, Zonnie Gorman expertly weaves her personal connection and intimate knowledge with thirty years of archival research and collected first account stories.

Cat-Griz Basketball

The Brawl of the Wild goes indoors when the men’s basketball team takes on the Griz in the Brick. Any Cat-Griz game is a staple of Montana and with the Cats defeating the Griz this year in football, we are going for the clean sweep. Students enter every basketball game for free with their CatCards. Be sure to be there to cheer the men’s and women’s teams on to victory.

The Council on Undergraduate Research, CUR, has selected Montana State University to host the March 2020 National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR). At this annual three-day event, more than 4,000 students present scholarly research, network with peers and faculty mentors, and meet with graduate school and corporate recruiters.

Trevor Noah is the host of the Emmy® and Peabody® Award-winning “The Daily Show” on Comedy Central. “The Daily Show with Trevor Noah” recently received two 2019 Primetime Emmy nominations, including Outstanding Variety Talk Series and Outstanding Interactive Program. Noah will be taking his newest tour to the Brick Breeden Fieldhouse to perform his latest set.
