Arlee woman and infant killed in crash on US-93 north of their hometown
LAKE COUNTY, Mont. – A woman and an infant from Arlee were killed in a car crash on US-93 just north of their home town.
The crash happened around mile marker 21 around 9:39 p.m. on Monday, Montana Highway Patrol reported.
Highway Patrol said the 28-year-old woman was driving south on US-93 with an infant in the car when her car crossed the double yellow line and hit a northbound vehicle in a head-on collision.
The woman and the infant were declared dead at the scene, Highway Patrol said. The other driver, a 66 years old man from Polson, sustained minor injuries and was brought to St. Patrick’s Hospital.
Highway Patrol said it suspected alcohol was involved in the crash.
