Bozeman area residents may see smoke from planned DNRC burn / Montana DNRC

BOZEMAN, Mont. — The Montana DNRC Bozeman Unit is conducting prescribed burns near the Flying D Ranch off US-191, southwest of Bozeman.

The agency said people in Gallatin and Madison counties should expect to see smoke that could settle into nearby valleys overnight.

The agency urged residents not to call 911 about the smoke as DNRC said the controlled burns will continue into Friday.
