Bozeman library hosts Anne Frank exhibit, March 4 opening event planned

BOZEMAN - The Bozeman Public Library is set to host the "Anne Frank: A History for Today" exhibit this March, offering a glimpse into the life of Anne Frank during the Holocaust.

The exhibit, developed by the Anne Frank House of the University of South Carolina, is open through March 31. It features photographs, historical materials and interpretive displays that tell the story of Anne Frank and her family during their time in hiding.

An opening reception is scheduled for March 4 from 6 to 7 p.m. in the library's Community Room.

Montana State Sen. Cora Neumann, whose grandparents were Holocaust refugees, will speak at the event.

Becky Kasten, the Bozeman Public Library's assistant library director, expressed excitement about the exhibit.

"The Library is honored to host this exhibit," said Kasten. "Anne Frank’s diary has captured the world’s attention since it was published and it continues to have a lasting impact, even right here in Bozeman in 2026."

The exhibit is a self-guided tour available during all library open hours, with docents available at times. It is sponsored by the Bozeman Library Friends and Foundation. More details can be found at the Bozeman Library website.
