Downed trees and power lines blocking roads across Montana

The windstorm blowing through Montana and the Northwest has caused outages, downed trees and power lines. Gusts up to 50 and 75 mph are expected across most of the Treasure State.

The Montana Department of Transportation is reporting downed trees blocking roads on its 511 map.

Libby: 

• Montana Highway 37 southbound lane blocked at milepost 10
• Montana Highway 56 lanes blocked due to downed trees and power lines at milepost 26, total blockage at milepost 18
• Tree in the road on US-2 at milepost 59

Polson: 

• Montana Highway 83 both directions blocked due to downed power line at milepost 57.2
