Exponent recognized nationally as 2022 Newspaper Pacemaker finalist

The Exponent has been recognized among the top student newspapers in the country as a finalist in the Associated Collegiate Press’s 2022 Newspaper Pacemaker competition.

The Pacemaker is the highest award in collegiate journalism. Finalists served as a strong voice for their student audiences and demonstrated excellence in design, editing, and written and visual reporting, according to the association.

Two teams of judges analyzed every entry and selected 34 finalists. Newspapers from four-year colleges were pitted against other schools with similar enrollment.
