Flathead County crash on Highway 93 leaves 18-year-old deceased

FLATHEAD COUNTY, Mont. — The Montana Highway Patrol (MHP) reported two-vehicle crash on Highway 93 South at Angel Point left an 18-year-old dead at 7:20 p.m. on April 1, 2026.

According to the report, one vehicle was heading north on U.S. 93 while the other was traveling south when the northbound driver tried to pass another vehicle unsafely.

MHP reported the northbound vehicle then hit the southbound vehicle head-on on the southbound shoulder. Both vehicles rolled into a ditch and the first vehicle came to rest on top of the second.

The report confirmed the driver of the second vehicle, who was 18, was pronounced deceased on arrival.

Additionally, the driver of the first vehicle was left injured.
