Hungry Horse shooting investigation ongoing, public urged to avoid area

HUNGRY HORSE, Mont. – Deputies from the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office responded to a shooting incident Saturday evening near the 100 block of Main Street in Hungry Horse.

According to the Flathead County Sheriff's Office, the injured male was found by deputies and emergency medical personnel, who are currently securing and processing the scene.

Authorities have advised the public to avoid the area and use alternate routes to allow law enforcement to conduct their investigation.

Officials have assured that there is no ongoing threat to the public.
