Letter to the editor: Al Olszewski has experience that other candidates don't

Citizens of Montana are awakening to efforts by elites in D.C. and Montana to control who the candidates will be in our federal elections. Both Zinke and Daines attempted to coronate their replacements as they delayed their withdrawal from the upcoming primary election to the last minute, to limit candidate participation. This is no different than what happened when Biden was exposed as being mentally incapable of another term and Harris was inserted without a fair Democrat primary.

The only candidate in the race for the western congressional district who is unshackled from elites in D.C. and Montana is Al Olszewski. Al has the support of the most significant class of Montanans — the hardworking, dedicated rank-and-file voters who keep Montana the greatest place on Earth. We see through the anointing of candidates by elites. We want candidates who listen to and represent our voices and values. Neither of the other two candidates have the level of support enjoyed by Al Olszewski.

Al served honorably in both the Montana House and Senate. No one was more respected as a legislator than Al. He possesses the legislative experience that none of the other candidates have, which is absolutely critical in order to navigate the day-to-day legislative work at the federal level.

Al Olszewski is, undoubtedly, the best candidate for the MT-01 congressional seat. He is absolutely the “people's’” choice in the June 2 primary and the November general election. Join me in electing Dr. Al Olszewski to the U.S. House.
