Letter to the editor: David Bedey offers full transparency

Transparency is a word describing a characteristic crucial to the understanding of an individual or activity.

Transparency allows a viewer, buyer, or subject to develop an opinion about what is seen or witnessed.

The application of transparency varies from total to none, with the degree being determined by the purpose.

As a result, the presence or absence is highly indicative of the intentions of those within that activity.

The presence of transparency enables the viewer to reach accurate conclusions about what they have seen and the impact or impacts on their objectives.

It is pretty straightforward, but raises the question of the purpose in the absence of transparency.

The most probable purpose of not being transparent is to conceal. Conceal what?

Current political activity offers a gleaming example of contrast and purpose.

David Bedey offers full transparency. He meets and greets, listens, and adds substance to the exchange. His responses are thoughtful and meaningful while intended to inform, explain and clarify.

His extensive legislative history provides a basis upon which the public can rely for future performance.

Kathy Love offers none of the above. While touting her bills passed in 2025, she deliberately left one out — it makes one wonder why?

Transparency is not part of her campaign.
