Man wanted after walking away from Helena Prerelease Center

HELENA, Mont. - A 27-year-old man is wanted by the Montana Department of Corrections after failing to return to the Helena Prerelease Center after leaving for work.

According to a press release from Montana DOC, Gordon O'John was due back at the Prerelease Center at midnight on Monday, but did not return.

O'John was described as Native American, 5-foot-8-inches tall and 175 pounds. He is right-handed, has black hair and brown eyes.

Crimes were not listed on the press release.

Anyone with information related to O'John's whereabouts are asked to contact the Montana Department of Corrections.
